If Little Darlings were to be made into a film, who would play Destiny?
He's wonderful to her, and to her little brother and sister. True to form at Christmas, Dad gives them fantastic presents, including a real emerald ring for his little Princess Em. Unfortunately he's got another surprise in store – he's leaving them. Will Dad's well-meaning but chaotic attempts to keep seeing Em and the other children help the family come to terms with this new crisis? Or would they be better off with a clean break – just like Em's arm?

I really liked this sad but funny book. I really like Em. Vita and Maxie must be a royal pain to be related to! I feel so sorry for all the family but it ends happily and i am glad:)

i found clean break a gripping book and i couldn't bear to put it down. i felt dreadful for em when she heard her dad on the phone and also when she wakes up the next morning and finds that he has gone. i can't wait to get my hands on the rest of jacky's books
